Offline adhesive trust journal

Remember which hooks actually hold at home.

Sticker Hold helps people track adhesive hooks, strips, tabs and picture hangers on real household surfaces: painted walls, tile, glass, cabinets and repeated mount points. It records load, cure time, preparation, humidity context, quick checks and fall outcomes so the user stops repeating the same wall-mount mistakes.

ApplicationSwiftUIOffline iPhone utility for iOS 16+ with practical MVVM direction.
ModeFully offlineNo internet, accounts, cloud, AI, OCR, maps, push notifications or social mechanics.
StorageUserDefaults + CodableProducts, surfaces, mount points, cases and Manage state are stored locally.
PhotosLocal sandboxWall, mount point, damage and fallen-object photos are stored as local files.

Queue-and-lab structure, not another generic notes app.

Sticker Hold is built around real adhesive installations: what product was used, where it was mounted, how heavy the object was, how long it cured, and what happened after checks.

1

Add the setup

Create adhesive product, surface profile, mount point and target item label.

2

Log a new install

Actual load grams, cleaning prep, humidity at install, cure hours, notes and optional photo.

3

Wait through cure

Curing now shows Fresh, Ready to check, Overdue check and Failed states.

4

Add a verdict

Still holding, Starting to peel, Fell off, Removed safely or Removed for reposition.

5

Read Growth

Best pairings, failure patterns, load reality, rooms with trouble and repeat spots.

Home memory

A personal trust map for adhesive + surface + load context.

The app does not rate products publicly or imitate a DIY community. It keeps private local history, then turns repeated cases into practical labels such as Reliable, Mixed, Risky, Poor match or Not enough cases yet.

Failed cases store damage level, object fell, wall mark, item damaged, fall height, humidity and notes as real event fields.

Five product sections with exact names.

The app uses Queue, Cases, Lab, Growth and Manage. Old generic section names are not used.

Q

Queue

Curing now, Check today, Risk watch, New install and Start from sample actions.

C

Cases

Active, Checked, Failed and Removed segments with search, filters, swipe actions and timeline detail.

L

Lab

Products, Surfaces and Mount points with adhesive catalog, surface profiles and real home spots.

G

Growth

Best pairings, Failure patterns, Load reality, Rooms with trouble and Repeat spots.

M

Manage

Theme, grams, sample cases, JSON export/import, wipe photos cache, clear sample data and full reset.

Growth is about useful home patterns, not abstract analytics.

Trust score stays transparent and local. The app needs enough cases before it claims a pairing is reliable.

1

2

Local calculation

No machine learning, no magic score.

Trust score combines success window, load discipline, damage penalty and humidity penalty. The user sees plain-language output instead of a complicated formula.

If a product/surface pairing has too little history, Growth says Not enough cases yet instead of pretending to know the truth.

Designed for expressive local assets, but not fake screenshots.

The marketing page keeps the same family as the privacy page: charcoal, slate blue, gold, orange, green and blue accents.

Planned asset layer

BackgroundsQueue, Cases, Lab, Growth and Manage each support a dark local background asset.
Brand piecesmascot_hold_1, empty_queue_1, placeholder_install_1, card frames and gold/orange/red button assets.
FallbacksSwiftUI gradients, SF Symbols, RoundedRectangle, stroke, shadow and material when images are absent.

Product boundaries

No public catalogNo marketplace, product ratings, community tips, AR scanning or wall repair service.
No remote dataNo external URLs, APIs, cloud sync, accounts, AI, OCR, maps or social mechanics.
No image bloatUser photos stay local in sandbox paths and are not stored in UserDefaults.

The page is prepared as a marketing URL page for the application concept and can receive a store button later. For now, the hero action points only to page sections.

The structure is separate from the Sticker Hold privacy page: adhesive map hero, queue-and-lab workflow, product section lanes, Growth metrics, asset boundaries and developer block.
